Cleanout of walk in freezer unit

This walk in freezer unit had a issue causing it to allow the contents inside to go bad.  SERVPRO was contacted to remove the damaged food products and clean the freezer.  After the freezer was found with the partially thawed contents, it was repaired and began refreezing the thawed items.  We began by removing the thawed food products and placing them in an onsite dumpster to be hauled away.  This had to be scheduled closely with the owner and his waste service schedule due to the odor of the damaged food products inside the freezer.  The next step was to remove all shelving and begin disinfecting the freezer itself.  After a complete cleaning of the racks and the freezer, all shelving was placed back inside to allow the owner to begin using the freezer again.  SERVPRO helped make this freezer "Like it never even happened."
